Site Finished Engineered Hardwood Flooring is allows for all the customizable benefits of solid hardwood flooring without the application restrictions. Engineered hardwood flooring is essentially a 1/4 inch wear layer glued and hot pressed to plywood. Due to the structural properties of the plywood, engineered hardwood flooring is suitable for below grade, and concrete subfloor applications. If you live in a stratified apartment building and would like to have a gorgeous hardwood floor, you will need to check with your strata council for acoustic regulations.
